Dallas Sleet Storm

Dallas was engulfed with snow on Friday, November 4th 2013. Engulfed? Well, maybe not engulfed. We received several inches of sleet which results in the city shutting down as the roads become icy and Dallas just isn’t equipped for this type of weather. Schools were canceled and many businesses were shutdown. The storm also resulted in the Dallas 26th annual Childrens Holiday Parade and the Dallas Marathon being cancelled. Around 240,000 people have been without electricity and many still are waiting for their electricity to turn back on at their home.

One of the great things about living in downtown Dallas is being able to walk to restaurants and bars that managed to stay open! Here are some pics I took of downtown.
