Downtown Dallas has a new market! I love that within a month of me moving downtown a new grocery market opened two blocks from my building as this was one feature downtown was missing. Urban Orchard Market has some of the same vendors as Whole Foods which for me is great because I do most of my grocery shopping at Whole Foods. This also means the store is higher end than say Walmart but the clientele this new market will attract are those willing to pay more money for convenience and organic foods.

Everyone who worked at the store was helpful and respectful. To me this is important. I love good customer service as it makes my experience more pleasurable and I also feel like they care about their customers!

This market also has an attached restaurant, bar and liquor store. I enjoyed an avocado roll at the sushi bar with a nice glass of temperino Texas wine. While at the sushi bar the CFO sat next to me! The CFO genuinely wanted to know how my experience was so far and asked what suggestions I had. I was impressed with the CFO as a person and I made sure to compliment the customer service at the store.

I ventured over to the liquor store and they had a tasting of an agave liquor. This was the first time I have ever tried a sipping Tequila although it wasn’t really tequila. This tasting was fun and again I loved the people doing the tasting. I did walk away with a bottle of (need to look at name).
